I know I know its been forever since I've been active here on DA. Sorry about that. Sometimes real life stuff gets in the way of the more interesting internet stuff. 2012 was a pretty bad year for me in total, so heres hoping for a better 2013.

So for the news in Allison's World:

-I've recently started watching Supernatural (its so good send help)
-I've also started watching Being Human (UK) (ITS SO GOOD HELP ME)
-I've cultivated an overwhelming love of Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbatch. (JOHNLOCK)
-I work on podfics now, yay. Though I currently don't have anything published, I have two fics in progress so stay tuned.
-I'm addicted to tumblr. Woo.

Hey guys.

So I've been, for lack of something better to call it, sick. I'm feeling considerably better now, so I'm back~

Essentially this is just to explain my sudden complete absence for the past few weeks...

Things are rough for me in the real world and sometimes things just really suck. Coping with life-shit takes allot of energy in the first place, and I have tons of life-shit to deal with, so I got really worn out.

I'm working on it though, and I'm feeling much better now, yeah I might disappear again some time in the future but I'll make my way back to you guys eventually, so don't you worry your pretty little heads :3 Things always get worse before they get better so I've got a ways to go, but I have backup- so I'm going to kick real-lifes ass and get back to work.

So... yeah that's a little mini rant for ya

I feel like drawing now, so I'm going to go plug in my tablet and we'll see how that works out~

In other news, I really should be studying for finals right now. I cant believe school is already over... It feels like the beginning of the year was only last week. How time flies...

So now I've decided to start taking requests to get me motivated to get back into practicing sketching on a daily basis. So send me a note with a request and I'll do my best to draw you something awesome. If someone would request something science boyfriend related that would be amazing, because I've been wanting to draw them forever but I've been lacking the necessary muse to do so~

-Anybody out there want to talk avengers with me? I need someone to obsess with. We can be friends Science Boyfriends anyone?

Hey everybody~ Its been a while hasn't it? How are you?

So! Whats up with me? Well... lets see... (tumblr link at bottom of journal broski)

I need a change. I've had such a rough past year and I feel like I'm stuck in a rut, both artistically and emotionaly. Schools ending and I just don't know what to do with myself. So I'm revamping everything. I'm getting a job (my first, mind you) I'm experimenting with new mediums, making new (less stressful) friends, reconnecting with old friends and adopting new fandoms. Hell, I'm even keeping my room clean.

I'm working my way out of this lousy lazy-not-wanting-to-do-anything rut I seem to have fallen into, looking for a fresh start with new people and ideas. Something refreshing and different. New experiences and all that jazz, so wish me luck~

Essentially I'm spring cleaning my mind~

In other news~


-I saw the Avengers (numerous times) and, honestly, I'm in LOVE. That movie made me swoon. I've never really been all that crazed over Marvel but seeing all of the Avengers together in one movie has me hooked. Tony and Bruce are SO adorable together Science Boyfriends forever~ Thor and Loki were about to make out in the mountain scene, I JUST KNOW IT! Tom Hiddleston is a GOD! I'm definitely a member of Loki's army. Its not Loki's fault hes so messed up, He was constantly put second to Thor and was raised believing he was never good enough. The poor guy had no choice but to be jealous, conflicted and upset. People tend to forget that he COMMITTED SUICIDE AT THE END OF THOR for Christs sake! Oden really should have told Loki about his frost giant heritage from the beginning. Then at least he would have grown up knowing why he was so different, and he would have had more self confidence, not having to live in Thor's shadow as "Second in line". I have so much to rant about regarding the Avengers I could go on forever

-I ship science boyfriends until the END OF TIME

-I feel like I'm done with Young Justice for the time being. I was addicted to season one, it was my mind crack. But its time to move on, season two is a bit of a let down. I'm not hating on it, It just put me off of YJ for a while. I'll revisit season one some time in the future, and get around to watching season two when its finished so I can have the whole thing in one sitting.

-I'm almost to 3,000 page views, and quite frankly, I'm touched. You guys are great.

-For the first time in a long time, I honestly have literally no idea what so ever what to do when I sit down to sketch. I'm so stuck. I'll post new everything when I manage to escape this artistic stupor. I just have to find a way to beat the hell out of it.

PEOPLE OF THE INTERNETS! Hey~ wazzup? how you doin'?

Soooo new YJ. honestly I'm to scared to watch. I have it DVR-ed but with all of the bad things I've been hearing I don't think I want to see it. Nightwing IS a sexy beast though, so I might give it a shot. The thing is, I feel like the jerks at cartoon network could have taken the original team another season. I mean, seriously, throwing away the story line that's been building the entire first season... not a good idea. SO MANY LOOSE ENDSSSSSS! Its killing me.

Honestly, the team was just starting to come together and learn to work together. Cartoon Network had at least one good show going for it, but now I think..... I think YJ might be dead.

I'll pull myself together and watch it tonight, and I'll decide the mortuary status of YJ then. I have to try and keep an open mind.

The main problem is going to be with fanfictions. How can we have KFxRob if there's NO KF?? Eh I don't give a damn about spitfire (it actually makes me sick to even think about it), but I was starting to warm up to Arty a bit...

So! The group. First I want to know if anyone else out there feels the same way about the new season, OR if anyone likes the new season! If you like it, I wanna know why. Maybe you can bring me some hope.
